Molly E. Ransom, 64, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at her residence on Tybee Island. The native of Vancouver, Washington moved to Tybee Island in 1991 after her husband retired. Mrs. Ransom worked as a Veterinary Technician with Dr. Maler at the Skidaway Animal Hospital and a home school teacher both on Tybee Island and Wilmington Island.
Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Jay S. Ransom of Tybee Island and daughter, Susan Ransom of Atlanta
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Gazebo on Tybee Island at the end of 19th. Street. A wake will be held immediately following at Benny's Bar.
